Tree-nut and birch pollen allergy

People with an allergy to birch pollen may experience a reaction to hazelnut, peanut, and tree-nuts. The symptoms may include itching of mouth, throat, and swelling of the tongue on contact with tree nuts. This set of symptoms known as oral allergy syndrome are not very common.
